Our NXT GEN Program mentors at-risk youth through education, sports and leadership training, fostering generational change.
Youth living in at-risk situations such as low-income neighborhoods, foster programs and broken homes are far more likely to participate in crime, drop out of school and enter the prison system before age 18.
We believe we are responsible for instilling hope, wisdom, values and worth in the next generation to help them achieve their potential. Through our NXTÂ GENÂ programs, our trained Dream Team mentors serve as positive role models for teens helping teach essential life lessons. These relationships help foster increased academic achievement, improved behavior, boosted self-esteem and enhanced social skills. Most importantly, we get to share how much they matter to God and pray with them regularly.
Our Community Center offers a safe place for at-risk youth to find mentoring through education, sports and leadership training. Through community education partners like Lone Star College, teens have opportunities to expand their education by completing high school, getting a GED or learning a trade. In addition, we provide services such as school tutoring, driver's ed, life-skills training and more.
