When we asked Shane Harper, owner of Porter Insurance Agency, “What if your company helped transform a generation?” — he leaned in and simply asked, “How?”

That moment opened the door to something extraordinary.

We shared the opportunity to sponsor the Life Skills Curriculum for our NXT GEN NIGHTS — a weekly program at the H-Town Dream Center where teens ages 13–17 come every Tuesday night for mentorship, real-world lessons, a hot meal, and a safe place to grow. These are students from our local community, many from low-income homes or unstable environments, who are now being equipped with the tools to build a brighter future.

Shane didn’t hesitate.
Thanks to Porter Insurance Agency, we are now able to:
✅ Complete the writing of our remaining Life Skills curriculum
✅ Print materials for both teens and mentors in full color
✅ Help staff and sustain the program
✅ Keep NXT GEN NIGHTS 100% free for every teen who walks through our doors

And the results?
Teens who walked in closed-off are now leading group conversations.
Shy students are standing tall and stepping out of their comfort zones.
Kids who didn’t want to be here now beg their parents to bring them back every Tuesday night.
Some are learning to save money, speak with confidence, and see their lives as valuable.

All of this started with one business saying yes to investing in the next generation.
