2024 Ministry Impact Report
Message from Shawn and Shannon Nelson

As we look back on 2024, our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude for the lives that have been transformed through the H-Town Dream Center. This year, we witnessed God move in powerful ways, breaking chains of oppression and poverty and replacing them with hope and restoration.

Because of your faithful support, we have accomplished so much together:

• Rescued 311 women and children from trafficking and other crisis situations, providing them with a safe haven and a path to healing.
• Served 1,000,000 meals at no cost to under-resourced individuals, ensuring no one in our community goes hungry.
• Distributed 725,000 essential goods like clothing and diapers to families in need.
• Mentored over 42,600 youth through our NXT GEN Program, equipping the next generation with life-changing skills, education, and opportunities.

Each number represents a story—a family fed, a child mentored, a life saved. One of the most powerful reminders of why we do what we do came from a mother who told us, “Without the Dream Center, I don’t know where my kids and I would be today. This place gave us hope when we had none.”

This ministry is more than just programs and numbers; it’s about transforming lives. Scripture tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Because of your generosity, these plans are coming to life for so many in our community.

As we prepare for 2025, we know the need is great, but we also know that God is greater. Together, we can continue to make a difference for women, children, and at-risk youth who desperately need our help.
